The driving force behind the Foundation is a team of seasoned professionals coming together from diverse backgrounds and experience, yet share common values and passion for the outdoors and preservation of our resources.

Jeff Rosenfeld

Board Chairman, President

Jeff serves as the foundation president and board chairman. Raised in New England he learned his appreciation for the outdoors in the White Mountains.  After earning degrees in Environmental Management from RIT and Business Administration from Northeastern he spent decades working in Biotechnology, Environmental Restoration, Green Technology, and Healthcare.

In 2020, Jeff founded the Wildwood Open Lands Foundation with the vision of creating an organization whose mission was to promote the conservation of natural and cultural resources. He now lives with his wife and children on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. The family has a passion for travel and feels drawn to open spaces.

Dave Whitney

Director

Dave serves as a foundation board member. He was raised in the rural northeast and traveled extensively across the continental United States throughout his 20’s and 30’s. Following his early adventures, Dave developed a widely recognized career in Healthcare Technology and Innovation; establishing and accelerating several highly successful medical practice organizations.

In 2020, Dave was honored to join and serve on the Wildwood Open Lands Foundation board with a shared vision for promoting the conservation of natural and cultural resources. He now lives with his wife in rural Arizona, appreciating and playing in the beauty of open land while balancing a full-time career as an independent healthcare advisor.

Tim Garcia-Jay

Director

Tim Garcia-Jay serves as a foundation board director.  A native Nevadan, Tim explored the back-country lands of the Great Basin in search of trout filled creeks and herds of roaming Elk.

While building experience in the healthcare industry becoming a recognized executive in Northern Nevada with a demonstrated history of working in hospitals and private medical practices, Tim earned degrees in Applied Economics & Policy Analysis, Healthcare Administration, and is currently pursuing a master’s in Healthcare Law.

Tim continues to advocate for open lands in his home state while expanding his experiences throughout the western United States with his two sons.

Dan Coll

Director

Daniel Coll serves as a foundation board director. Growing up in the San Francisco bay area, Dan has always been drawn to open spaces and has a lifetime of experiences to show for it. Whether employed as a river guide to serving as a ski patroller an aggregate set of skills that has culminated as an orthopedic and trauma surgical PA-C. Earning degrees from University of California at Davis, Pacific University, Western University of Health Sciences, University of Denver, and Northeastern, Dan has earned the respect of his peers in the healthcare industry.

Outside of the healthcare realm Dan continues to explore the western USA with his wife, three children, and guard dog ‘Raven’.
