Betsy Caughlin Donnelly Park in Reno!
Wildwood Open Lands Foundation has adopted Betsy Caughlin Donnelly Park in Reno as participants of Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful’ s (KTMB) ‘Adopt-A-Spot’ program.
Please join us to support our local community as we will be preparing flower beds and removing any rubbish that has collected.
Come dressed in sturdy shoes and warm cloths, KTMB and WOLF will take care of all the equipment and materials.
The park located at 3295 Mayberry Drive, Reno, NV 89519.



May 12-14, 4-Wheel Touring in the Black Rock Desert, High Rock Canyon Emigrant Trails National Conservation Area in collaboration with the Friends of Black Rock High Rock.
A three-day BYOV 4-wheel touring journey through history and nature in the Black Rock Desert High Rock Canyon Emigrant Trails NCA.
This will be a limited group size guided tour. Information for sign up and tickets will be posted on the Friends of Black Rock High Rock website this spring.



This will be our first hosted multi-day group camping event. This micro-rally, family friendly, fundraising event will feature several outdoor skills class events and activities over the weekend. We are actively exploring opportunities with businesses and organizations who would also like to participate.

The Wildwood Open Lands Foundation team will host a booth at the Somersett Summer Car Show for in the Somersett Village Center in Reno, NV.
For the second year, we’ll be talking about the Foundation’s initiatives, sharing outdoor ethics resources from TreadLightly! and Leave No Trace, as well as selling foundation logo wear & memberships.
Come by and say hello to the crew, we’re looking forward to seeing you there!



Come join Wildwood Open Lands Foundation at the 6th Lake Tahoe Adventure Van Expo this year to be held at Palisades Tahoe. Information about the event and ticket sales can be found on the AVE website.
We’ll be talking about the Foundation’s initiatives as well as sharing outdoor ethics resources from TreadLightly! and Leave No Trace. Foundation logo wear & memberships will be for sale. All proceeds benefit Wildwood Open Lands Foundation programming. We have maintained a 100% volunteer organization, so your contribution makes a great impact on our programming.
The Adventure Van Expo’s are always a great time. The Tahoe venues are fantastic (we are biased, for sure). We’re very much looking forward to seeing you there!
